I will always remember to pray, the one you shared with me that sweet November day

I will aways rememder to hold my head up high the way you showed me so that i would'nt go astray

I will always remember to teach my children how to be as sweet and honorable as you were

And if some how you don't read this poem in the nick of time....

I will always remember to write you a small letter and release it into the wind so you and I can keep in touch again. sh,sh,sh

To all of you "Trust in the Lord with all your heart" and look to God for all your needs. Mrs. Irene was a Warrior, she fought a good fight. When I would talk with her she never complained about anything and we all knew she was very sick, but you never heard her say anything negative always had a sweet spirit .The Service was beautiful and the releasing of the Doves completed the service. Your mother is resting in the arms of Jesus. I will be praying for you and your family.Nita thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to be with POOH...Love NANA

You are in my prayers. What a wonderful pleasure to have God lend you such a gentle and kind spirit in the person of your Mother Irene Sheppard.   Follow her leadership of God 1st and foremost. In times of sadness and lonely moments look to the cross and place your cares on Him. He is a comforter.

To:  Anita, Rick-Lela, Paul, Dwayne  and the other family members I met at Ricks Birthday celebration.  I know it was a date with destiny how and when I met you all.  Even one of the young men told me, when he has his celebration he wants me to come sing....I was so honored by that.  The young man blessed my soul.  I don't know if the Lord will ever allow me to meet him again.  I hope so, but that celebration was just the beginning of God showing me his great love in the form of mother Irene.  Thank you all for opening that door for me.  I have such treasured memories from that brief window of time. Thank you Anita for feeling my servants heart and inviting into the heart of your mom. I pray for you and your family daily believing God to allow the healing process of mothers absence to continue to heal.  Its not always I meet someone like mom who just at the thought of her and her struggles, then knowing her last victorious challenge cause tears to fill my eyes, everytime!  Even now, I love you all so and once again, saying this with eyes filled with tears, "Thank you Anita" for introducing me to "Your" special Love!  Your mom! Theres something about a daughters love for her mom, when you look up and see a white bird flying by, look at him as a carrier pigeon, just checking to see if you have another note to be hand delivered to your mom.  Love ya sis and it gets better with the Lord and time, not one without the other.....
